Blindside
The cliffs in this image were formed as a result of deposition when sea levels were higher.
This image shows a future or past ocean positioned in the present on the Dorset coast. Taking the form of a two dimensional but integral picture, an ocean is supported in an object which is shown as three dimensional as it casts a shadow on the beach and conforms to some aspects of perspective. The real (3D) and the projected (2D) converge. In this image, I try to create a present which is both real (climate change is happening) and imagined (sea levels have not risen very much so far).
